​Mella is a former student of Music at Trinity College Dublin, majoring in voice. She has studied Classical singing at R.I.A.M. At age 6 she starred alongside her sister Meabh in 'Annie' at The Tivoli Theatre, playing the part of Molly. The following year she played Gretl in 'the Sound of Music' at the National Concert Hall with Festival Productions.

 

Each year she performed in the National Concert Hall Christmas productions and was cast as the leading lady in 'Annie' in 2005.  Mella currently sings with the Chapel Choir in Trinity College and has performed as a soloist on RTE.

Meabh has been singing since she was 8 years old when she received her first professional role in 'Les Miserables' alongside Colm Wilkinson at The Point Theatre in 1999. Since then Meabh has had a love for singing.

 

Over the years Meabh has played leading ladies in many professional musical theatre productions in well known theatre venues around Dublin. These include Annie in the musical 'Annie' at the Tivoli Theatre and Dorothy in 'The Wizard of Oz' at The National Concert Hall. She has been trained in both the Musical Theatre style as well as the Classical style, in multiple institutions including D.I.T. and R.I.A.M. Meabh has completed a B.A. in Music and Drama at U.C.D. and is now working towards a Diploma in Musicianship. During her time in U.C.D. Meabh was also a decorated member of the U.C.D. Choral Scholars.
